Experience with artificial intelligence matters is also appreciated. The ideal candidates will have experience assisting clients with: (i) enabling cybersecurity preparedness and data breach response; (ii) conducting regulatory investigations relating to data privacy and cybersecurity issues; (iii) building legally compliant data privacy and cybersecurity programs in the US (including for NIST, CCPA, CPA, BIPA, HIPAA, WMHMDA, and other US state and federal privacy laws), (iv) conducting data privacy and cybersecurity due diligence and M&A support; and/or (v) drafting privacy policies and negotiating data processing agreements. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred. A strong interest in the field of data privacy and cybersecurity is desired. Work experience in the federal government or law enforcement on cybersecurity or data privacy issues, including non-legal experience, is welcome and encouraged.
