Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer BASIC PURPOSE: The Cybersecurity Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's security capabilities and maturity. Collaborating across teams, this role tackles complex challenges with innovative solutions. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in enterprise security services, including Network and Endpoint Security, as well as Identity and Access Management. Additionally, managing and configuring security tools like CyberArk is a key aspect of this "hands-on" position, demanding both technical prowess and effective communication skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work closely with the Enterprise Security Architect on diverse projects spanning Information Security domains. Identify security issues and implement robust solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud, network, host, and identity management. Advocate for security best practices throughout the organization. 2. Innovative Solutions: Prioritize solutions that optimize security without compromising customer experience or productivity. Research and design creative strategies to mitigate risks. Evaluate and enhance existing security tools and services, staying abreast of emerging technologies to bolster our security posture. 3. Project Management: Lead technical aspects of Information Security and IT projects. Design and implement foundational security controls. 4. Automation and Configuration: Collaborate with functional teams to automate security processes. Configure and manage security tools like CyberArk to meet security objectives. Implement and oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms. 5. Audit Support: Execute compliance processes such as access reviews and assist with other compliance tasks as needed. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Undertake additional projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related field. (Consideration may be given for relevant experience and certifications.) Certifications: Relevant Security Certifications are advantageous (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Security+). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in information technology, including system technology, infrastructure, networking, cloud, and hosting services. 1-3 years in roles such as Cybersecurity Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, or Cybersecurity Analyst. Ability to assess and minimize business impact while enhancing security posture. Familiarity with various security frameworks and strong knowledge of holistic security architecture. Experience with identity and access management concepts (e.g., SAML federation, OAuth, MFA). CyberArk experience is beneficial. Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
