Skills

  • Sales experience in the dairy, animal health, or related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales director to achieve regional sales goals and growth objectives.
  • Assist in writing technical documentation for product quotes and responses to RFPs.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring both growth and protection of accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new customers, and create strategies to increase market share.
  • Analyze market data and create reports to identify areas for growth.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of market access opportunities, challenges, and effective communication strategies to support customers.
  • Assist with proposals, including responses to customer requests and presentations for specific requirements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key influencers, consultants, veterinarians, and dairies in the region.
  • Stay updated on local and federal regulations, and ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with clients, suppliers, and business partners to foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Provide recommendations for service improvements and product enhancements to boost sales potential.
  • Manage and execute both short-term and long-term sales strategies, ensuring delivery of targeted sales results.
  • Perform special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a competitive sales environment.
