Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay rate/range for this position in the posted location is \(123,379.00 - \)175,000 / year. Pay is competitive and based on job-related factors, including skills and experience.

Skills

• 5+ years of relevant employment experience as a Data Engineer or Analyst
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• A go-getter, looking for opportunities and taking the initiative
• Programming experience, preferably in Python
• SQL experience
• Good generalist experience with various technologies

Responsibilities

• Be a Data Governance champion and drive adoption through training and newsletters
• Document metadata and devise improved Data Quality tests/processes
• Support Data Quality and Active Metadata Platforms
• Collaborate across Data Engineering, Science, and Analytics to ensure high Data Quality
• Develop the roadmap for Data Governance processes and tools
• Coordinate response to incidents and address root causes
• Simplify complex concepts for stakeholders
• Monitor Data Help Channel for questions and opportunities

Qualifications

• Desire to support others and a hands-on approach to work
• A willingness to tolerate bad dad jokes or tell better ones
• Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate and build effective business partnerships

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

• Minimum of 5 years in data engineering or analysis
