We are looking for an experienced data scientist to serve as the technical lead of the Modeling & Analytics Graduate Network (MAGNet) internship program. This full-time position is based in Athens, Georgia, and offers a hybrid work arrangement. Compensation and Benefits

• Potential starting salary range: \(110,000 - \)135,000
• Yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
• Relocation benefits may apply

Skills

• Completed master’s or advanced degree in an analytical field (e.g., statistics, data science)
• Minimum of 4 years of applied experience in predictive modeling
• Proficient in Python, R, or SAS
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS) and Linux
• Strong communication skills for managing diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the MAGNet internship program, including hiring and developing interns
• Scope and manage projects for MAGNet interns
• Liaise between State Farm’s data science community and graduate programs
• Contribute to the development of AI/ML educational materials
