Skills

  • Dental Assistant Certification
  • X-Ray Certification, or the ability to acquire in a timely manner
  • Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certifications preferred
  • Experience with temporary fabrication, denture adjustments, and Dentrix required
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to create a positive, supportive environment for patients and team members

Responsibilities

  • Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists
  • Manage patient flow to ensure efficient appointments
  • Welcome patients and deliver positive patient experiences
  • Take and process X-Rays
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the Dentist
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
  • Monitor all laboratory cases and ensure readiness for the next day’s schedule

Qualifications

  • Dental Assistant Certification
  • X-Ray Certification, or capacity to acquire timely
  • Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certifications preferred
  • Experience with temporary fabrication, denture adjustments, and Dentrix required
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to create a positive, supportive environment for patients and team members

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Dental Assisting

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Certification

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required
  • Familiarity with Dentrix and dental procedures necessary
