Responsibilities

• Lead a modernization team overseeing 22 modernization initiatives conducted by FFRDCs
• Develop and manage modernization policies, guidance, and legislation to enhance engineering and T&E practices
• Create technical solutions to complex DoD challenges
• Build a community of practice across key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry leaders, and academic institutions
• Ensure alignment between Systems Engineering, Operational Test and Evaluation, and Test Resource Management initiatives
• Lead major technical projects using formal engineering principles and quality control measures
• Develop innovative approaches to assess technology, risk, performance, and capabilities
• Manage and coordinate project efforts across multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline or related field
• 20+ years of experience in relevant engineering and technical leadership roles
• Strong ability to drive innovation and implement forward-thinking solutions
• Proven track record of setting ambitious goals and delivering impactful results
