Responsibilities

  • Support Children’s Development: Assist in meeting the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of children in your care.
  • Collaborate with Lead Teacher: Work alongside the Lead Teacher to plan and implement engaging learning activities and programs tailored to the children’s needs.
  • Create a Safe Learning Environment: Ensure a safe, caring, and educational setting where children feel encouraged and valued.
  • Foster Positive Relationships: Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.

Qualifications

  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
  • High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development (GED) certificate
  • At least two years of experience in child care and development
  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred
  • Willingness to obtain a CDA within one year of employment
