Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality early intervention services in line with professional standards
  • Design and implement learning environments and activities to promote cognitive, social, and developmental skills in infants and toddlers
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to create routines that foster daily learning
  • Offer resources and guidance to families, helping them understand and support their child’s development
  • Model strategies for families to implement within their educational environment
  • Follow all federal, state, and county regulations for early intervention services
  • Participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings and ensure goals are met
  • Develop and organize instructional plans that maximize each child’s learning and progress
  • Implement a curriculum tailored to meet the child’s developmental goals as outlined in the IFSP
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in accordance with county policies and IFSP guidelines

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or Family Studies
  • At least one year of experience working directly with infants, toddlers, and children with developmental delays in the Philadelphia area
  • Completed all state-mandated competencies
  • Completion of relevant Early Intervention (EI) trainings
  • An MA number assigned and active

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or Family Studies
