Responsibilities

• Develop and produce drawings for building’s lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems
• Perform lighting and power engineering calculations
• Design electrical systems in adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines
• Support procurement by evaluating and specifying materials and equipment
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment

Qualifications

• Vocational Certificate or Associate’s degree in Engineering Design or Drafting
• 3+ years of electrical design experience in the architectural / built environment
• Proficiency in Revit and MS Office
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IBC, IECC)
• Capable of performing calculations and analyses to support design decisions
