Skills
- Proficiency in electrical theory and application
- Experience with testing and repairing electrical control circuitry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Responsibilities
- Repair and replace defective parts in generators, motors, controllers, and other electrical fixtures
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on electronic and electrical systems
- Track inventory and complete annual inventory in collaboration with the Finance Department
- Test solid-state circuitry to identify and replace defective parts
- Design and modify motor power control equipment circuits
- Prepare schedules and coordinate activities with other divisions
- Ensure accurate completion of all preventive maintenance duties
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Technician related field from a certified college
- Certification in Electrical Technician field from an accredited institution
- A minimum of five years of experience in a steel producing and rolling mill environment

- Associate’s degree or higher in Electrical Technician or related field
