Responsibilities

  • Work closely with nurses and physicians to prioritize and complete assigned tasks
  • Perform various clinical duties, including phlebotomy, wound care, and crutch-walking instruction
  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering direct patient care
  • Conduct specimen collection and point-of-care lab testing
  • Safely transport stable cardiac telemetry patients to inpatient units
  • Maintain inventory of essential supplies and ensure equipment is ready for use

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in EMT or Paramedic preferred

  • 1-3 years of relevant healthcare experience
