Skills

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Proven Emergency Department nursing experience (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated clinical competency in assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch patient care: Assess physical, mental, and psychological status of patients of all ages, using expert clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Educate and empower patients and families: Provide essential patient and family education to promote healing and well-being.
• Continuously learn and grow: Participate in educational programs to enhance technical skills.
• Deliver compassionate care: Provide care that reflects the philosophy, purpose, and policies of our hospital and department.

Qualifications

• Proven Emergency Department nursing experience (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Education Requirements

Current Massachusetts RN license is required.

Experience Requirements

• Proven Emergency Department nursing experience (required)
• Experience and/or certification in critical care is preferred (including cardiac drips, conscious sedation, or other critical care activities)
• Experience as a Paramedic or EMT is a plus.
