Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies. This role is critical in delivering high-quality patient care within the hospital setting.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: \(28 (2 years) - \)31 (5 years) - \(35 (10 years) - \)41 (17+ years)
  • Sign-on bonus: $10,000
  • Night shift differential: $4.50
  • Weekend differential: $1.50

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Florida
  • 1 year of recent emergency department experience preferred
  • Will accept Puerto Rico ER Nurses

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience in an emergency department setting
