The Associate Relations Partner II is a mid-level associate relations professional responsible for providing strategic associate relations consultation to managers and associates regarding workforce matters and company policies and procedures. This role is vital for enhancing business operations, associate engagement, and ensuring legal compliance. The AR Partner II will be assigned to specific business teams or divisions, which involve intermediate-level complexity in associate relations support. Additionally, the role may involve providing counseling or conducting workplace investigations for other teams or individual associates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic employee relations consultation to align management actions with business objectives
  • Collaborate with managers to enhance associate engagement and retention
  • Evaluate and address associate grievances with appropriate action items
  • Represent the company at unemployment hearings
  • Prepare and finalize employment action and investigation documentation
  • Maintain and update Associate relations tracker/case manager
  • Lead or participate in special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with emphasis on Employee Relations counseling and investigations

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources focusing on employee relations
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations and providing counseling in a corporate environment
