Goodyear is actively seeking to hire an Entry Level Automotive Technician to join our team at one of our Auto Service centers. This position offers hands-on experience in basic automotive services, allowing you to learn essential skills such as mounting and balancing tires, performing oil changes, and conducting preventative maintenance, all while providing outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Learn to complete basic automotive services including tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and filter replacements
• Train with experienced automotive technicians to acquire additional service skills
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication regarding vehicle status
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations
• Adhere strictly to company policies on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements

• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience is a plus
• Previous formal automotive training is preferred
