Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an HR function
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious, self-aware, and hungry to learn

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment & selection process and analyze workforce-planning data
  • Support various HR initiatives around labor relations and talent management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with management and employees
  • Learn and lead project improvements across the company
  • 15% travel to support the Williamsburg Brewery
  • Assist in compensation and benefits management
  • Provide creative solutions to business challenges
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop and execute strategies for recruiting and retaining top talent

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Open to diverse educational backgrounds including business, human resources, psychology, philosophy, or related fields
  • Proven ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities preferred
