Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas on foot, bicycle, or in a patrol car

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
  • Sixty (60) accredited college credit hours, military experience, or two years of police experience
  • Ability to complete essential physical functions of the job
  • Successful completion of standardized testing and physical ability testing

Education Requirements

  • Sixty (60) accredited college credit hours at a grade C or better, military duty with honorable discharge, or two years of relevant police experience

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • U.S. Department of Education accredited college or university

Experience Requirements

  • Two years of police officer experience or equivalent military experience
  • Successful completion of the FrontLine standardized police officer test
