Description

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for the build and support of the Epic module, Healthy Planet Population Health for the DSOHF EHR. This role involves performing Epic Application Coordinator/Analyst functions and serving as the primary contact for the assigned Epic modules. The Technical Specialist will coordinate all issues that arise during the project and must develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations.

• Serve as the primary support contact for the application’s end-users

• Act as a liaison between end-users and Epic implementation staff
• Maintain ongoing communication with Epic representatives

Qualifications

• Epic certification is mandatory
• Experience with Epic modules such as Healthy Planet is preferred
• Strong background in application support and development

Education Requirements

• Relevant certifications in Epic applications
• Continued education in healthcare informatics is a plus
