Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum for the Foundation Year Program
- Conduct 20-25 hours of classroom teaching per week
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback
- Mentor and advise students in their academic journey
- Prepare lessons and coordinate student activities
- Mark homework and classwork assignments
- Prepare, administer, and mark placement, progress, and achievement tests
- Assess and report on student performance
- Develop supplementary materials for core syllabuses or special courses
- Attend staff meetings and workshops arranged by senior staff
- Assist with public examinations and related activities
- Actively participate in the life of the university/organization
Qualifications
- Must be a native speaker of English (from specific countries)
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Education, TESOL, English, Linguistics, Languages, TEFL, English Language Teaching, or English as a Foreign Language
- Or BA/MA/PhD in any field/major + CELTA / DELTA / TEFL / TESOL (120 hours)
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fields required
- Master’s degree or higher preferred but not mandatory
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Teaching certifications such as CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or TEFL are required
Experience Requirements
- Desired experience of 1-2 years in ESL/EFL teaching
- Age should be between 22-59
