We are seeking an experienced attorney with a passion for helping others to join our team as an Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney. In this role, you will provide thoughtful legal advice and guidance to clients as they navigate their estate planning and elder law needs. You will work closely with clients to create customized estate plans that reflect their goals, ensuring their assets are protected and distributed according to their wishes.

Responsibilities

  • Draft various legal documents, such as wills, trusts, and other related documents, using firm templates and designated software
  • Collaborate with clients to review legal documents, offering insightful feedback and ensuring their estate plans align with their objectives
  • Provide exceptional client service by addressing concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Represent the firm in community groups, committees, and boards, when applicable, to strengthen connections and visibility
  • Work with staff to verify the accuracy and completeness of legal documents, ensuring a high standard of quality
  • Suggest process improvements to ensure smooth and efficient client service
  • Conduct review meetings with clients to ensure their estate plans continue to align with their evolving goals and needs
  • Oversee and mentor paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff to ensure effective teamwork and accurate document handling

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning or elder law
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school, with an active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and collaborating with others
