The NC Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a contractor to assist with the implementation and maintenance of data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports for NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST), utilizing the Cúram Software product and Oracle. The selected candidate will analyze and identify reporting requirements for NC FAST Case Management System reports while effectively reporting mid to high-level complexity data. The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting data interfaces and reporting solutions, in addition to enhancing existing data extracts and reports to align with ongoing business needs.

The ideal candidate must understand the underlying data sources (databases) and interpret business requirements to analyze operational issues. This includes developing diagnostic and tracking data via reports and dashboards. Duties encompass gathering and documenting requirements for new data extracts and reports as well as modifications to existing ones, developing complex queries against large tables storing CLOBS/XML, and writing efficient SQL queries. The selected candidate will also analyze existing queries, fix issues, extract data, and develop operational performance metrics to ensure quality and integrity through validation and audit strategies. This position requires 24x7 on-call support/rotation.
