The Event Concierge will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless experience for guests during events at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. This role involves meeting with group coordinators/hosts prior to functions, making introductions, and ensuring that all arrangements meet guest expectations. You will be responsible for reading and analyzing banquet event orders to gather necessary guest information and to determine setup, timeline, and special requests. The Event Concierge will also follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance with guest needs.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with group coordinators/hosts prior to events to ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to fulfill guest needs
  • Follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications in hospitality or event management are a plus

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
