The Executive Director of the Community Physician Group will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for the overall administration and operations of the group. This role encompasses strategy development, planning, execution, and performance monitoring of practices and associated service lines. A significant focus will be placed on building high-performing service lines characterized by growth, high-quality care, exceptional patient experience, frictionless access, strong production and financial performance, and solid network integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee direction, planning, execution, and management of practices with a focus on growth and optimization
  • Engage and integrate physicians, APPs, direct reports, and clinic support staff to maintain high-performing teams
  • Handle physician and APP hiring, engagement, compensation, and performance expectations
  • Communicate service line strategies and performance benchmarks to key stakeholders
  • Manage separations of physicians, APPs, and direct reports, both voluntary and involuntary

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive physician practice management or related healthcare management experience
  • Strong understanding of working in a matrix organization and leading by influence

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, etc.)

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Certifications valued: CPPS, CMPE

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of healthcare management experience
