The HVAC/R Service Technician will join our client’s team in Sarasota, FL, bringing expertise in the field of refrigeration and HVAC systems. This role requires a hands-on technician who can efficiently inspect, repair, and install various HVAC equipment while ensuring optimal functionality. A strong commitment to quality service and teamwork is essential for success in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

• Technician pay of \(30-40/hr (\)60,000-$80,000/year)
• Potential bonus dependent on the market

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify, and install HVAC equipment
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections
• Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC units
• Operate various hand and power tools safely
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance work
• Lubricate and pack equipment
• Maintain detailed records of work performed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, Commercial HVAC, or relevant military service
• EPA Universal (or EPA I & II) and/or CFESA certification preferred
• Ability to work on HVAC systems and components

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certification in HVAC/R preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant technical experience
