This is a full-time, remote position with the expectation of developing the local market in person. While you can work from home, we also have office space available in Elgin, IL.

Skills
Self-motivated with strong work ethics and discipline.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in mortgage brokering, loan origination, or real estate.
Active NMLS registration.
Knowledge of conventional and non-conventional loan products, with experience in non-qualified mortgage (non-QM) products being a plus.
Familiarity with financial principles, credit packages, and mortgage regulations.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and sales skills.
Experience managing Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) or Loan Officer Assistants (LOAs) is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with local real estate offices, banks, CPAs, attorneys, developers, and contractors.
Identify and engage new referral sources to expand your network.
Participate in professional organizations and local events to enhance brand visibility.
Build and manage a pipeline of referrals and loan prospects to meet production goals.
Consult with borrowers to identify the best financing solutions tailored to their needs.
Educate clients on loan products, terms, and options to ensure informed decision-making.
Oversee the loan process from origination to closing, ensuring a smooth transaction for all parties involved.
Monitor compliance and industry regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the mortgage industry with strong client management skills.
Familiarity with various loan products and mortgage regulations.
Multilingual abilities are a plus!
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous experience in mortgage brokering or real estate.
