We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice full-time in Greenfield, IN. This role requires a compassionate provider who will ensure the best patient care possible within our inpatient rehab facility. We prefer candidates with acute care experience and/or those who have worked in hospital-based or ER medicine, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Compensation and Benefits

Up to $140k per year (base salary plus productivity bonus).

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other setting
  • Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
  • Valid nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in IN
  • Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
  • ACLS Certified

Responsibilities

  • Conduct history and physical exams, including examining patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
  • Diagnose, manage, and treat acute episodic illnesses and stable chronic conditions
  • Prescribe medications and write referrals for comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules for designated patient caseloads
  • Educate patients and family members on diseases and prevention
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
  • Monitor patients’ overall health and promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and follow up with patients post-discharge

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
  • Expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care practices
  • Valid nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in Indiana
  • Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
