Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Proficiency in estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs, and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical ability

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate (experience with New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate laws is a plus)
  • Engage in clear, consistent communication with clients, financial planners, and accountants
  • Prepare federal and state estate tax returns, fiduciary accountings, and oversee asset distributions and trust funding

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in trusts and estates administration
  • Strong background in estate administration processes and laws

Education Requirements

  • College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
  • Candidates with a JD or equivalent experience will also be considered

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Paralegal Certification or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estates administration
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
