CPA certification is required

Responsibilities
Oversee all financial and accounting responsibilities for multiple investment portfolios, managing trade processing and accounting records.
Maintain and update the books and records for various entities, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing.
Lead the monthly close process and prepare financial statements as required.
Conduct research on securities within the investment portfolio and address other accounting-related issues as necessary.
Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with SEC regulations, prospectus restrictions, and other limitations.
Collaborate with the tax department to ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting in a timely manner.
Act as the primary point of contact with service providers in the investment department, ensuring optimized services and accurate recordkeeping across platforms.
Drive the development of new processes to improve accounting workflows in collaboration with technology platforms.
Address and escalate exceptions or issues affecting accounting records and valuations, assisting in their resolution.
Contribute to special projects and other tasks as needed by the business.
Safeguard all personally identifiable information and comply with confidentiality and privacy standards, in accordance with regulations such as HIPAA.
