As a Survey Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and overseeing surveying activities for a variety of municipal and transportation projects.

Skills

  • Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
  • Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping is preferred
  • A minimum of five years of office experience working on DOT projects

Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, select, and apply standard surveying techniques and procedures
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee detailed phases of surveying work
  • Conduct boundary analysis for large-scale land surveys
  • Lead client communications throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of surveyors, technicians, and support staff
  • Review, seal, and manage professional surveying documentation
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project success

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in surveying
  • Proven experience in managing transportation project surveys
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Professional Surveyor and Mapper licensure active in Florida or ability to obtain within 12 months

Experience Requirements

  • At least five years of office experience working on DOT projects
  • Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping preferred
