We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated FDOT Survey Project Manager to join our dynamic Survey Team in Tampa, FL. Skills

  • Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
  • Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping is preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, select, and apply standard surveying techniques and procedures
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee detailed phases of surveying work
  • Conduct boundary analysis for large-scale land surveys
  • Lead client communications throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of surveyors, technicians, and support staff
  • Review, seal, and manage professional surveying documentation
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project success

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of office experience working on DOT projects
  • Strong technical skills in surveying and mapping
  • Proven experience in managing surveying projects

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field is preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Professional Surveyor and Mapper license

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in surveying, specifically with DOT projects
  • Experience with Microstation and OpenRoads Designer is required
