Baseband Telecom Corporation is a national infrastructure, utilities, and specialty contractor serving the wireless, broadband, and telecommunications markets. We plan, design, build, and support communications infrastructure for our clients across the Southwest Region. We are looking for a Fiber Splicer(s) who will be responsible for splicing fiber optic cables in both outdoor and indoor settings.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic cables in outdoor and indoor settings
• Maintain control of activities surrounding the assigned work site(s)
• Take and maintain accurate splicing and field notes
• Support project timelines and deadlines
• Inspect, design, and provide accurate staking sheets for projects

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fiber Splicer or in a similar role
• Knowledge of fiber optic technology and splicing techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional technical training in telecommunications or related field is preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Technical Certification in Fiber Optics or related field

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in fiber splicing or related telecommunications roles
