The Engineering Technician II position offers an exciting opportunity to support photolithography equipment customers in the Central NY region, located between Syracuse and Albany. In this junior-level role, you will receive training to support Canon’s lithography equipment (steppers and scanners). This is a full-time position that requires a consistent presence at assigned offices or worksites, with a focus on enabling cutting-edge technology in the semiconductor manufacturing process.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment while minimizing downtime.

  • Monitor stock levels of service parts and ensure adequate inventory for repairs.
  • Provide training and assistance to junior technicians and customers.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to enhance expertise.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related (Electromechanical) work experience, particularly in a semiconductor equipment company.
  • Experience with lithography equipment is preferred; familiarity with high precision equipment is helpful.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is necessary for travel.

  • Associates degree in a relevant field required.
