Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of basic electronics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient in Concur, Paylocity, Microsoft Windows/Office, TechMate, Inventory Control, and PC skills
  • Requires technical support in the field

Responsibilities

  • Identify cost savings mechanisms within the organization and make recommendations.
  • Respond to dispatched service calls within 8 working hours or less as dictated by customer contract.
  • Schedule calls appropriately to manage response time.
  • Reinforce operator training issues with customers as appropriate.
  • Conduct site surveys at the end of each service call for feedback.
  • Repair equipment problems to completion, making necessary adjustments or replacing parts.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance routines as per factory specifications.
  • Submit all administrative requirements accurately and timely, including work order tickets, expense reports, and warranty claim forms.
  • Maintain effective control and care of company property such as vehicles and tools.
  • Maintain positive relations at all organizational levels and provide coverage for other Field Service Representatives during vacations.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent military or trade school
  • Minimum 1+ year of industry experience
