Skills

  • Associate degree in Lasers, Electronics, Robotics, or Manufacturing (required); Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with CNC-controlled manufacturing equipment (laser experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in electrical measurement tools (e.g., voltmeter, oscilloscope)
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics and diagnose software issues
  • Familiarity with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AC/DC circuits, servo controls, sensors, and PLCs
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
  • High-level understanding of safety protocols related to electrical and laser systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform system-level troubleshooting and on-site repairs
  • Dismantle and rebuild machines mechanically and electrically
  • Set up high-power Ytterbium Fiber Lasers and verify beam alignment
  • Perform software updates on HMI, PLC, and CNC systems
  • Interpret schematics and block diagrams for diagnostics
  • Monitor and optimize laser system performance
  • Train customers on equipment use and maintenance
  • Document service issues and resolutions in detail

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and REAL ID (required by May 2025)
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction and training
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and solve practical problems

Education Requirements

  • Associate degree in Lasers, Electronics, Robotics, or Manufacturing (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (preferred)
