Skills

  • Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection tools (e.g., voltmeter, oscilloscope)
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics and diagnose software issues
  • Familiarity with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with AC/DC circuits, sensors, relays, timers, and fusing
  • Experience with mechanical systems (ball screws, bearings, gearing, way systems)
  • 3+ years of experience with PLCs and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel 95% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex technical issues and perform on-site repairs
  • Dismantle and rebuild machines both mechanically and electrically
  • Perform software updates on HMI and PLC systems
  • Interpret schematics and block diagrams to troubleshoot issues
  • Document product problems and resolutions in detail

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in the machine tool industry (preferred)
  • CNC programming skills (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
