Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT or relevant IT certifications
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
• Experience in application testing and building test cases
• Strong command of the English language
• Preferred experience in SWIFT client setups and support
• Preferred experience in a Financial institution
• Good troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze problems and provide long-term solutions
• Excellent time management, task planning, and prioritizing abilities
• Scripting in SQL is considered an asset
• Knowledge of Therefore, JIRA, or Zendesk administration is considered an asset
• Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various application server setups, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Oversee Applications’ end of day process
• Manage Applications’ user profile creation and review
• Coordinate application and mobile application deployments with suppliers
• Build test cases and perform testing on different application systems
• Support roll-outs of new applications and mobile applications
• Identify recurring application issues and ensure permanent solutions
• Communicate with end users, providing support and education
• Prioritize and manage multiple open cases simultaneously
• Document new setups and procedures
• Undergo staff training as required by the bank
• Responsible for application server failovers even during out of office hours
• Support the Infrastructure Team during certain out of office hours

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or applicable IT certifications
