This role involves teaching basic, intermediate, and advanced level courses, as well as instructor-level courses, depending on experience and qualifications. The Adjunct Instructor I will collaborate with fellow instructors, internal team members, and our diverse customer base to ensure the highest standards of training.

Skills

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication skills for providing updates and feedback.

  • In-depth knowledge of weapons, tactics, and proper handling of firearms.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to two weeks per month.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert instruction across a range of courses, focusing on specialty topics as assigned.
  • Achieve established course objectives and timelines for training courses and related events.
  • Create a positive training environment in both the classroom and on the range.
  • Represent the organization at public events and interactions.
  • Attend work regularly and be punctual to contribute to a professional work environment.
  • Actively participate in sustaining 5S standards and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of instructor-level experience in firearms safety, handling, and training.
  • Prior law enforcement or military instructor experience preferred.
  • Armorer experience is a plus.
