Skills

  • Illinois Office of State Fire Marshall Basic Operations Firefighter certification
  • Licensed Paramedic or proof of enrollment in a paramedic program

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age at the time of hire
  • Maximum age of 35 years at the time of hire (unless otherwise exempt)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Class B non-CDL license within 6 months of hire
  • Successfully pass FireTeam examination and additional post-offer screenings
  • US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen

Education Requirements

  • Illinois Office of State Fire Marshall Basic Operations Firefighter certification
  • Licensed Paramedic

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Firefighter certification
  • Paramedic certification

Experience Requirements

  • Completion of the FireTeam National Examination
  • Relevant experience in emergency response and firefighting preferred
