Compensation and Benefits

Skills
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
- Valid Illinois Driver’s License required
- Paramedic Certification: Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-P certification or National certification with the ability to test in Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital System
- Successful completion of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications
- Age: 21-35 years old at the time of testing (waiver for prior certified full-time firefighters)

- Vision corrected to a minimum of 20⁄20 with no color blindness
