Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic conditions.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake (if applicable).
• Support mobility by assisting with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Monitor vital signs, measure intake/output, check blood glucose levels, and document any health changes.
• Collaborate with facility staff to follow patient care plans and report any concerns requiring changes in care, medications, or medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in South Dakota (or eligibility for reciprocity/multi-state transfer).
• Must maintain required certification renewals.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved CNA training program.
