Compensation and Benefits

• W2 Employee: $46 per hour.
• 1099 Independent Contractor: $57 per hour. (Note: Independent contractors are not eligible for all benefits; please speak with a recruiter for more information.)

Skills

• Current NYS PT License and Registration.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Competence with electronic medical records.
• Meeting all state and federal requirements for US employment in a nursing facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapy services to individuals in skilled nursing facilities.
• Conduct efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to follow under your supervision.
• Work with individuals requiring care related to TBI, CVA, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress using innovative EMR software.

Qualifications

• Current NYS PT License and Registration.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Competence with electronic medical records.
• Meeting all state and federal requirements for US employment in a nursing facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Education Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy.

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Licensure.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred, but not mandatory.
