Skills

• Proficiency in Golang, Python, Django, Kafka, and Vue
• Experience with storage engines like Vespa, Postgres, and BigQuery
• Familiarity with hosted services, particularly GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GRPC, Kubernetes, Git, GitOps, Protobuf, AI, and ML

Responsibilities

• Engage in regular discussions with management to comprehend feature needs and bring them to life
• Create user flows, process flows, and architectural diagrams
• Advocate for and defend your designs and deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders
• Occasional travel to Washington DC, our home base
• Manage time effectively in a remote work setting to meet deliverables and due dates
• Maintain stellar communication skills, including video calls with stakeholders
• Produce professional documentation and comprehensive architectural diagrams
