Skills

  • Experience working with children ages 0-6
  • Ability to work well with other adults
  • Growth mindset and problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with the Montessori approach to education is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the classroom with the care and education of young children
  • Support Lead Guides in implementing the Montessori curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for children
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to promote a positive learning atmosphere

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children ages 0-6
  • Valid negative TB test taken within the last 12 months (prior to start date with Guidepost)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Education or Child Development coursework is preferred but not required

Experience Requirements

  • Prior experience working with young children is preferred
