We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our full-time team in Seattle (Ravenna), WA. In this role, you will assist in carrying out health and fitness programs for patients and provide physical therapy aimed at reducing pain and increasing mobility. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the latest advancements in treatment and has experience addressing a wide range of patient issues. A team player with a Washington license, experience in athletics, coaching, or personal training is essential.

Skills

  • Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Physical Therapy Assistant License in WA
  • Experience with athletics, coaching, and/or personal training
  • Strong communication skills, both with staff and patients
  • Ability to assist patients in various phases of physical therapy treatment

Responsibilities

  • Consult with the PT and healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
  • Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on patient needs
  • Provide instruction in exercises, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
  • Educate patients on the benefits of PT and home exercise programs
  • Document treatments rendered and maintain accurate progress notes
  • Collaborate with other PTs, PTAs, and healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
  • Create an excellent patient experience through a friendly and focused attitude

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant License in Washington
  • Previous experience in athletics, coaching, or personal training preferred
