Skills

• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and subsystem accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, graphs, and charts).
• Experience in financial reporting, financial accounting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the GCM Accounting team with the month-end close process.
• Prepare detailed analyses of month-end financial results and general ledger entries for various GCM accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and balancing for GCM products.
• Assist in reviewing account reconciliations prepared by accounting analysts.
• Prepare financial reports for GCM products each month for distribution to internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly reports for regulatory bodies, including the SEC.
• Perform validation of new derivative instruments to ensure accurate recording.
• Communicate effectively with traders and lenders to ensure accuracy in derivative income and referral fee allocations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in a banking or financial services environment.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
