Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role. The expected hourly wage is between \(15.00 and \)18.00.

Responsibilities

  • Process requests for patient health information according to policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information
  • Use company and facility software effectively
  • Inform management of site difficulties and fluctuating workloads
  • Help with additional duties as needed
  • Apply medical privacy regulations consistently
  • Manage patient health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Respond to requests for patient records and assist with patient walk-ins
  • Train Associates in HIS I positions and generate reports as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1 year of Health Information related experience
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Must meet Company’s Productivity Standards
  • Comfortable working independently with changing priorities

Experience Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant Health Information Management experience
  • Previous experience in a medical office environment is preferred but not required
