Responsibilities

• Contact medical providers to negotiate discounts on out-of-network claims
• Contract with medical providers to generate bulk contracting opportunities
• Monitor In-Process Claims Report to meet clients’ turnaround times
• Assist providers with any related disputes or issues
• Communicate with Client Service Associates regarding claim inquiries
• Collaborate with other departments within the Zelis Enterprise
• Ensure adherence to Zelis standards regarding privacy

Qualifications

• Proven experience in claims negotiation or a related field
• Strong background in healthcare or insurance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Professional certifications in healthcare or negotiation may be beneficial

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in claims negotiation or healthcare administration
