Compensation and Benefits

Pay range for this opportunity is \(52,000.00 - \)72,712.50. Employees may enroll in company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401k plan, along with an employee assistance program.

Skills

  • One to two years of technical field service experience in the healthcare industry or equivalent technical school training.
  • Excellent knowledge of personal computers, video technology, video cabling, and networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers and Windows software.
  • Technical exposure to operating room medical devices (preferred).
  • Technology integration experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and efficient problem-solving.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on surgical product lines and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, and certify equipment using standard and specialized tools.
  • Provide customer training and in-servicing on assigned equipment.
  • Perform installations and conversions on assigned equipment and start up custom equipment.
  • Utilize technology (smartphone, laptop, software) to complete administrative duties and improve customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, managers, and support teams.
  • Communicate scheduling and estimated arrival times for maintenance and repairs.
  • Recommend product enhancements based on customer feedback and equipment knowledge.
  • Identify sales opportunities and recommend products and services.
  • Adhere to operating room and hospital protocols, including sterile field guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory procedures and resolve purchase order issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Technical exposure to operating room medical devices (preferred).
  • Experience in similar roles in the healthcare industry.

Education Requirements

  • Technical school training or relevant experience in the healthcare field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
