Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, procurement, and business analytics.
• Work closely with administration, clinical operations, and medical staff to optimize financial performance and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to governmental regulations and financial policies.
• Act as a liaison between operating units and centralized accounting functions.
• Supervise and support a team of financial professionals, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic financial management.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in finance or accounting, including 1 year in a healthcare environment.
• 7+ years of finance or accounting experience, including 3+ years in management (preferred).
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an academic medical center or physician practice (preferred).
• Background in project management and electronic health records (EHR) (preferred).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Health Administration (preferred).

Education Requirements Credential Category

• CPA, CMA, CHFP, or FHFMA certification (preferred).

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
